Below you’ll find our upcoming games! Our Home Field is located at the Rahway River Park, in the grass field on the east side of the park. You’ll see us by our flag! Bring a chair or blanket, peanuts, Cracker Jacks – whatever you’d like to enjoy (non-alcoholic, of course). Parking is along the outer ring of the park, or in the lot by the pool.
Not all games are at our home field, however, so make sure you check the description for the location of each game!

Your Elizabeth Resolutes travel to Old Bethpage, New York to contest the New York-New Jersey Cup, presented by The Mutual Base Ball Club of New York! Several teams from both New Jersey and New York will come to compete in 1864 rules base ball throughout the day, until one team is ultimately crowned the Champion! We’re excited to have been invited to this event, and look forward to a spirited day of base ball! Following are our matches for the day;
- 11:00 AM – The Elizabeth Resolutes vs. The Mutual Base Ball Club of New York, playing at Hewlett Grounds by 1864 rules.
- 1:00 PM – The Elizabeth Resolutes vs. The Brooklyn Atlantics, playing at Schenk Field by 1864 rules.
Come cheer us on as we strive to win both games against formidable teams!
Our home opener for 2023 is going to be a fantastic day at Rahway River Park! We will be hosting our good friends, The New Brunswick Liberty for a double header of 1854 and 1870 rules base ball that is sure to be a crackerjack match-up!
However, before we begin, we will be honoring some very special people to both of our teams. This past September, The Connecticut Base Ball Club of Hartford posthumously honored our late founder and captain emeritus, Paul Salomone, with the Ed Elmore Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Base Ball Studies. Prior to the first pitch, we will be assembling and presenting this award to Paul’s wife, Ruth Salomone.
