Mystery at the Museum
April 21 & 22, 2023

**UPDATE – This event is SOLD OUT **

So, you think you have attended a Murder Mystery Party before? Well, you probably haven’t attended one quite like what’s happening at the Merchants and Drovers’ “I Love A Mystery!” fundraiser on April 21 and 22!

Your ticket will give you exclusive access to a private party at a tavern-turned-jazz-club, where your hosts will welcome you to an evening of merriment – not knowing that one among them has been marked for death. Upon arrival, you will be assigned a role at the door with a sheet detailing your character’s unique traits, goals, and secrets. After some time to mingle with the other guests and enjoy delicious cocktails, full buffet dinner, music, and candlelight, you will be called into action to help unravel a murder most foul. You and your fellow guests will interview suspects, search for clues, solve puzzles, and work together to finger the guilty party – before it’s too late!

Part murder-mystery dinner, part puzzle-solving, “I Love A Mystery” will be an evening of dinner, drinks, and fun! Put on your Jazz Age best or just come as you are, but do come – we’ll never figure out whodunit without you!

A Note About Accessibility

This event, including dinner, drinks, socializing, and the bulk of the mystery-solving will take place on the wheelchair-accessible ground floor of the Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum, and parking is also available immediately behind the building in the tavern yard for people with accessibility needs.  Some portions of this event will take place on the museum’s upper floors, which are accessible only by stairs, but information discovered upstairs will be conveyed back downstairs, and the denouement will take place downstairs. Staff members can also use a cell phone to take photos of props and staging on the upper floor while the event is in process, and share them with anyone who is unable to climb stairs.  If you would like more information, please call the museum office at 732-381-0441.
