Lecture -- It’s the Law! The year is 1820. What are the laws that govern taverns,
marriage and divorce, public entertainment, crime and punishment, travel,education, the preservation and
sale of food products, and other aspects of life in New Jersey? Linda McTeague, our executive director, will
speak on the laws of New Jersey as they relate to the interpretation of early tavern life. Refreshments and tour
