Alex Shipley, author of Rediscovery of Rahway and the original Images of the Past has researched and discovered interesting new facts about our city. Images II  historic photographs range from the 1870's to the 1950's. Many of these photographs are from private collections, and most of them have never been published before. Edited by Linda McTeague, Executive Director of the Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum Association and designed by Sara L. Pender, Images of the Past II: A Rahway Album contains over 200 scenes illustrating early Rahway. 

These books are available for purchase in the Terrill Tavern Museum Shop located on the Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum property.

  The tavern, which served as an inn from 1798 to 1932, is located at the corner of St. Georges Avenue and Westfield Avenue.  Proceeds from the sale of each book will benefit the Museum development of the tavern, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Those who are unable to visit the Museum Shop but who wish to purchase a book may contact President William  Rack at  (732) 382-5347 or call the Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum at (732)381-0441.
